Dr Dave Heslop

Dr David Heslop is an Associate Professor at the School of Population Health at UNSW Sydney and is a clinically active GP and Occupational and Environmental Physician. He has deployed to a wide variety of military and humanitarian assistance environments, and has deep knowledge and skills in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Medicine, policy development and advice. He has a research focus on developing collaborative research opportunities between military and industry, developing computational models of health systems under emergency and crisis conditions, and health system optimisation such as Digital Twin models and Agent Based Modelling and Simulation.
