Kieran Shivakumaarun

Kieran is a UNSW student currently working with us at SWERI. He is currently studying Medicine at UNSW, and is working on his Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) with us. His Honours project is focused on investigating the utility of signals processing in the diagnosis of chest pain within patients presenting to the Liverpool Hospital ED. The project aims to develop a model which can be used as a tool for more rapid diagnosis of chest pain patients, improving patient outcomes and mortality when presenting with this potentially life-threatening symptom.
